Refund Policy:
1-Student Authorization Related Withdrawals
The academy may retain the lesser of 25% of the total fees due under the contract or $400 by international students who
 a. are denied Study Permit authorization from Citizenship and Immigration Canada, or
b. do not receive authorization prior to the start of the program of study, provided that
c. the student notifies the academy of the circumstances subsection (1) (a) or (b) on or before the first day of a
program of study is scheduled to begin, and
d. the student, within a reasonable time, provides documentation of the circumstances in subsection (a) or (b) to the academy.
2-Non-student Authorization Related Withdrawals
When an international student enrolled with and/or studying at the academy the basis of a Study Permit either withdraws
from or is dismissed by the academy, the academy is required to notify Citizenship and Immigration Canada within fourteen
(14) calendar days that the student has either withdrawn or been dismissed.
3-Refunds before a program of study starts:
a. If written notice of withdrawal is received by the academy less than seven (7) calendar days after the contract is
made and before the program starts, the academy may retain the lesser of 25% of the total fees due under the
contract or $400.
b. Subject to subsection (3) (a), if written notice of withdrawal is received by the ac thirty (30) calendar days or more
before the start of a program of study, the academy may retain 25% of the total fees due under the contract.
c. Subject to subsection (3) (a), if written notice of withdrawal is received by the academy less than thirty (30)
calendar days
4-Refunds after the program of study starts:
a. If written notice of withdrawal is received by the academy, or a student is dismissed within 10% of the program of
study's duration, the institution may retain 50% of the total fees due under the contract.
b. If written notice of withdrawal is received by the academy, or a student is dismissed after 10% and before 30% of a
program of study's duration, the academy may retain 70% of the total fees due under the contract.
c. If a student withdraws or is dismissed after 30% of the program of study's duration, no refund is required.
DISMISSAL POLICY
Absenteeism for longer than two (2) consecutive days without informing the school and provision
of a doctor's note may result in dismissal. Cheating or plagiarism
Physical abuse of academy's property
Theft or non-accidental damage to the institution's property
Behavior displaying insubordination, refusal to cooperate with instructors and schedules
The use of alcohol or nonprescription drugs is prohibited while in attendance at the academy.
Flagrant disrespect of academy's rules of conduct and policies.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION POLICY & PROCEDURE
Policy:
Individuals should always try to resolve issues informally. If a more formal approach
becomes necessary, the academy provides a fair and reasonable mechanism for
resolution.
Procedure:
Step One
First try to resolve the issue directly with the other party. If this doesn't work ...
Step Two
Put your complaint in writing to the academy's administrator. He/She will request
submissions from all involved parties, including witnesses; conduct an investigation and
set up meeting within 48 hours.
Step Three
Repeat step two with the academy's president. If no resolution is forthcoming...
Step Four
The parties appoint an outside mediator/arbitrator within 48 hours. The institution will
bear the cost of mediation/arbitration.
ATTENDANCE POLICY
Students must:
Attend a minimum of 100% of the program in order to graduate.
Academy hours are from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, seven days a week in order to
accommodate different applicant's time frame.Students are expected to be at the
academy on time and ready to start at their scheduled timetable.
Absenteeism for more than 2 days due to illness must be accompanied by a Doctor's note.
